Old Banjara Indian Textile Galla
This is an old Banjara Indian textile known as a AGalla@ that is used as a part of a woman’s
headpiece to cover the back of her neck. Approximately 18 x 10 inches. The textile is sewn on
handloomed deep blue indigo cotton cloth with applique work and embroidery. Great abstract
imagery. The central panel is embroidered on an old piece of block printed cotton. Nice colors, in
good condition. SOLD
